Great teaching deserves to be recognized.

The Simpler Math Educator Spotlight celebrates mathematics educators who create meaningful, challenging, and supportive learning experiences for their students. We are especially interested in teachers who find ways to make rigorous mathematics more accessible—helping students engage with challenging ideas without lowering expectations.

We hope to spotlight educators who think creatively about instruction, build student confidence, connect mathematics to meaningful contexts, and create classrooms where more students can see themselves as capable mathematicians.
